Canoeing Club

A canoeing club is not common in Hong Kong secondary schools. Yet, one can be found in our school. Canoeing trains not only will power and physical fitness, but also helps to foster team spirit. Our club enjoys the support of the club adviser and our old boys. Activities held include ‘Star Awards’ training courses and some canoeing skills practice. 

Every year, the team will join the Inter-school Canoeing Race held by the Hong Kong Canoe Union (HKCU) at Shing Mun River. The team will practise before the race. Our athletes’ spirit and hardwork is appreciated.

• Short Trip (10km)

All in all, canoeing is a salutary activity which gives participants an opportunity to appreciate the natural environment and the living creatures which they cannot find in the urban jungle.
